This is my kitty - he is alternately snuggly in my lap, climbing the curtains and pouncing. I need to think of a name for him (he was christened Skip by the RSPCA). One suggestion so far is Mittens.

I was thinking Yoda for those ears. Or perhaps Lego (for Legolas)!!
the ears look like one of those african dogs. So maybe he needs an african name. They are also called calico dogs, you could call him Calico (which kind of harmonises with your crafty-ness)
I like Calico. Mittens is a bit too juvenile.
